Learn more about TEAMS Mini-Grants

TEAMS Service-Learning Mini-Grants (SLMG) offers current Fellows the opportunity to develop a grant proposal, while also gaining valuable feedback and experience in budget writing and Service-learning Project Development. The SLMG Program is committed to the implementation of Service-learning Projects that focus on equity, community need, inclusivity, and student voice.

“We have been kindergarten teachers in this community for the past 3 years. We have noticed over the years that parents are often eager to help their children at home with literacy development but do not know how to do so effectively.”

“Overall, the project has been rewarding for my students, giving them a sense of purpose and an opportunity to meet and interact with their peers. It has become clear that most of the teachers and students who have participated in the school wide project have become more comfortable seeing and interacting with my students.”
