Join us for The TEAMS Pedagogical Seminar Series

The primary goal of the Pedagogical Seminars are to help TEAMS Fellows develop a perspective which is youth-focused, aiming towards empowerment and towards building a movement for social justice. The course provides training and support for using innovative and experience-based techniques at the school site. Central to this course is the development of a supportive learning community to foster professional development and high standards for school professionals. Teachers and school counselors in training will have a rare opportunity to engage in a participatory learning experience together.

Participation at all seminars is mandatory for and limited to TEAMS Fellows. The first seminar is held in conjunction with Fall Institute, a pre-service orientation for all TEAMS Fellows. The remaining seminars are held monthly on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., except for TEAMS Day of Service for San Francisco.
